37 ROLL of HONOUR 2025 Friends we have lost in 2025 Norway Ragnhild Drogsøy, 2018 * Ragnhild Drogsøy, born April 30, 1944, died February 24, 2025, nearly 81. A devoted Norwegian YWCA Guide for 70 years, she served as leader, commissioner, and Trefoil Guild member. A pharmacist by profession, she shared kindness, skill, and lifelong service, greatly missed by guides, family, and friends worldwide and locally. Mexico María Teresa de Sánchez Primo, 2004 * Guías de México, A.C. deeply regrets the death of our sister Guía María Teresa, who was National Commissioner, Executive Secretary and National Executive Director of our Association. She was an Honorary Member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts and a member of The Olave Baden-Powell Society (OB-PS). We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones for this irreparable loss. Switzerland Dr. Sibyll Kindlimann, 2001 * Sibyll Kindlimann passed away at the age of 92. She was presented in Copenhagen 2002. Sibyll was a strong personality, Chief Commissioner and President of the Swiss Girl Guides. She successfully championed women’s causes with foresight and perseverance during the merger process between the two associations. Sibyll was a member of the Constitution Committee. Sibyll was the first female headmistress of a grammar school and politically active in Winterthur. She was a real role model for many. Ellen Ringier Ellen Renée Ringier (1951–2025), Swiss philanthropist, publisher, producer and attorney, died 19 March 2025, aged 73, after serious illness. A member of OB-PS since 2006, she helped establish it in Switzerland and supported B-P Fellows. A generous, unconventional advocate for culture, equality, anti-racism, women and Scouting. Remembered for humility, resilience, charisma and community. She will be deeply missed.
